Are these items authentic?

Yes, every item from Real Deal Collection is guaranteed authentic, forever. Founded in 2006, by a handbag collector—turned authenticator that's committed to providing a safe place to recycle and acquire luxury designer accessories. Our authenticity experts thoroughly examine each item in person with knowledge of the manufacturer's standards of quality in: branding, craftsmanship, hardware, materials, stitching and codes.

If we suspect that a submitted item is counterfeit we may require proof of purchase from the consignor, and may employ an independent authentication service when a third-party opinion is helpful. We will return any submitted item if we are unable to guarantee its authenticity with full confidence.

Where do these items come from?

Our one-of-a-kind inventory comes from individual collectors around the world, just like you, who benefit from our trusted reputation and years of experience. Avoid the hassle and risk of selling luxury goods yourself, because we do all the work for you! How is an item's condition rated?

We examine and evaluate each item thoroughly with special attention given to the handles, corners and areas that typically may show signs of wear. You'll find a detailed description of each item listed with professional photos of the actual item available for sale. Please note that leather is a natural product that may show characteristic marks that were part of the animal, and will develop a rich patina from exposure to air and contact with human skin that enhances its natural beauty.

Who determines an item's price?

We research our previously sold items as well as the current marketplace to determine prices at a fair value for both our consignors and customers. Consignors must approve an item's starting price before we process it for sale and our consignor contract specifies when and how much we may discount. No discounts are typically given during the first 30 days of availability.

Will my order include sales tax?

Only orders shipping to an address in New Mexico will be charged the Santa Fe sales tax rate of 8.3125%. If we ship outside of New Mexico, including internationally, there is no tax added to your order total.

In the USA, we ship via USPS Priority Mail, FedEx Ground, or FedEx 2-Day Express.

International orders ship via USPS Express Mail International. FedEx International can be arranged per request.

The tracking number will be emailed to you when the shipping label is printed. Direct signature is required upon delivery for orders over $500.

We cannot ship on national holidays or weekends. For same-day shipping of FedEx 2-Day Express orders must be received Monday through Friday by noon MST, otherwise will ship the following business day.

Our online Shopping Cart will automatically calculate the shipping cost for multiple items in one order. Be sure to select your Country first during Checkout to adjust the contact information fields. Contact us to combine shipping for separate orders.

Can I make an international order?

Yes, our online Shopping Cart supports over 100 countries worldwide. Problem? Please contact us to process your order. We ship worldwide. Estimated delivery time to most countries is three (3) to five (5) business days. Customs duties, if any, are the responsibility of the buyer.

What is the return policy?

You may return any product ordered from Real Deal Collection for refund or exchange within fourteen (14) calendar days from the delivery date. Returned products must be in the same condition as received, and include everything that came with it. Receive a refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping, credited back to the original payment method within seven (7) days from receipt of return. Trade-in purchases may be exchanged for store credit to spend without expiration, simply mention, "store credit" and we'll look up your account balance.

Security tags must be intact and attached. Layaway purchases are final sale and not eligible for return.

International Customers: Please mark "Returned Goods" on all Customs forms. Any taxes assessed are the responsibility of the buyer and may be deducted from the refund issued for the return. Products shipped from outside the USA may incur import tax if the declared value is greater than the $200 USD duty-free limit. Email us if you have any questions.

We are not responsible for returned items that are lost in transit and not delivered to us.

As a reseller of previously owned luxury goods, we sell products "as is" and do not provide a warranty of the brand's workmanship which should be covered by the brand manufacturer, and you should contact them directly for any repairs or refurbishments.

Can I cancel an order I just placed?

Yes, prior to shipping, you can cancel an order by calling us at 505-795-5979 or email us.

Are there any discounts available?

We email our subscribers exclusive coupon codes discounts during special events and national holidays. Get on the list!

You may inquire about a discount on a particular item. Please note our consignor contract specifies when and how much we may discount. Typically, no discounts are offered for the first 30 days of availability. We strive to satisfy both our customers and consignors pricing at a fair market value. Popularity and condition dictates resale value and most items are half of the manufacturer's retail price.

What is layaway?

Real Deal Collection offers a complimentary "layaway" installment payment plan over the course of 60 or 90 days from the order date to make buying luxury goods more affordable and budget friendly. We allow up to 3 items to be purchased on layaway at a time. Our 60-day layaway term requires an initial deposit of 30% of the order total, another 30% is due 30 days after the order date, and the remaining 40% is due 60 days from the order date. Our 90-day layaway term requires an initial deposit of 25% down and then three (3) additional payments of 25% due each 30 days after the order date. We do not charge any interest or finance fees for layaway orders. However, as a courtesy to our consignors whom have agreed to offer layaway the following special conditions apply:

Layaway is a firm commitment to purchase the item(s) and a final sale. Products purchased via layaway are not eligible for return. All layaway deposits paid are non-transferable and non-refundable. Please be certain that you are willing and able to complete the layaway purchase within the term before placing an item on layaway.

To create a layaway order online, add the item(s) to your Shopping Cart, click the "Checkout" button and select the Payment Method "Layaway or Trade-in" plus leave us a Special Instructions note stating which layaway term you'd like. We will email an invoice for the first installment payment and subsequent deposits when they are due. Full payment can be made anytime on layaway orders, simply email us or give us a call 505-795-5979 to process your payment. We ship after the order total has been paid in full. Please note that we may change layaway terms on specific items or for special offers. We reserve the right to deny layaway to anyone. If the initial deposit has not been paid within 48 hours of the order we will cancel it.

What is trade-in?

Trade-in is the fastest and easiest way to update your collection. Turn your unwanted luxury goods into something new-to-you from Real Deal Collection. Get immediate store credit without waiting for your trade-in item(s) to sell. Select items are eligible for trade-in depending on many factors such as condition, style, popularity, etc. Due to market fluctuations store credit offers must be accepted within fourteen (14) days of the offer date as offers may vary over time. Once accepted, however, store credit never expires – use it now or later. We'll even keep track of it for you, just mention, "store credit" and we'll look up your account.

To create a trade-in order online, add the item(s) to your Shopping Cart click the "Checkout" button and select the Payment Method "Layaway or Trade-in" plus leave us a Special Instructions note about your trade-in item(s). We will email an invoice for a $100 "Good Faith Deposit" to hold the product(s) in your order while your trade-in item(s) are in transit to us. After we've received your trade-in(s) we'll offer instant store credit and you'll receive an invoice through email if any balance is due to complete your order, or an email confirming your remaining store credit to use towards your next order. Layaway can be combined with trade-in by paying the remaining balance with installment payments over 60 or 90 days. We reserve the right to cancel a trade-in order if the deposit has not been paid within 48 hours, or the trade-in item(s) have not been shipped with a tracking number within seven (7) days of placing the order.

Can items be held and reserved for me?

Yes, we can hold items with a deposit paid within 48 hours of creating an order online. Layaway orders require a first installment payment of either 25% or 30% of the order total, and trade-in orders require a $100 "good faith deposit" while the trade-in item(s) are in transit to us.

Simply place an order for the product(s) you wish to purchase through our online Shopping Cart. Select the Payment Method "Layaway or Trade-In" and leave us a Special Instructions note whether you want a 60 or 90 day layaway, trade-in your accessories or both. Click the "Submit Order" button, the product(s) will be reserved for you as out-of-stock and we will contact you via email for payment arrangements. You can also call us at 505-795-5979. We reserve the right to cancel any order and re-stock the products ordered if there is no response within 48 hours of the order.
