REAL DEAL COLLECTION provides authentic luxury-designer handbags and accessories for sale in our Santa Fe, New Mexico showroom boutique, our website, and other venues. We offer up to three (3) ways to sell your items: direct buy cash, trade-in store credit and consignment sale. Please carefully read the terms outlined below regarding our policies.
We will email you after our inspection and resale evaluation. Your approval of the pricing and selection of a selling option is required before we process any item for sale.
We accept bags, luggage, small leather goods (cosmetic cases, holders, pouches, wallets), accessories (belts, charms, key rings, scarves, sunglasses), signed jewelry and unworn to barely worn shoes.
Items must be in new or used condition without significant defects and working as intended with the exception of vintage luggage that can be home décor. Any repairs must have been made by the brand or department store. No missing stones or broken parts on jewelry. Watches must work.

Upon approval of a selling option, REAL DEAL COLLECTION will be responsible for the promotion, care and customer service to sell, including: authentication, resale market price evaluation, detailed description, professional photography, online posting, email promotion, answering customer inquiries, secure packing, shipping and insurance. We will take all necessary steps to sell your items quickly and at the best price possible.
We make payments via bank checks sent through US Mail, or picked up in our boutique, and electronically via PayPal Personal Payment, Venmo or Zelle.
All payments are made after our authenticators have certified authenticity in person. We will reject and return any submitted item if we cannot guarantee its authenticity with full confidence. If any item is found to be not authentic, we will return the item to the seller upon payment of an authentication fee of $25 (or $75 for an Hermes Birkin or Kelly) plus any shipping cost.
Consignment payments are made at least once a month, after the sales transaction is complete and subject to our return and layaway policies. Offers must be accepted within 14 days of the offer date due to market fluctuations.
Selling Option 1: Direct Buy Cash
Sell your authentic luxury goods directly to us. Direct buy cash offers will be approximately 40% to 50% of the estimated resale value of the item. It’s the fastest and easiest way to sell.
Selling Option 2: Trade-In Store Credit
Shop with us for an additional 20% over the cash offered in immediately redeemable store credit. Trade-in store credit is approximately 50% to 60% of the estimated resale value of the item, without waiting for it to sell. Trade-in store credit is an effective way to turn unused items into something you can enjoy for yourself.
Selling Option 3: Consignment
We sell select items on a consignment basis meaning we will sell your items in return for a percentage of the sale after it is complete. Our commission is reduced for higher valued items as follows:
Realized sale price under $1,000 - 50/50 split - your payout is 50%, our commission is 50%
Realized sale price $1,000 to $3,000 - 60/40 split - your payout is 60%, our commission is 40%
Realized sale price over $3,000 - 70/30 split - your payout is 70%, our commission is 30%
Consignments are subject to our 14-day return policy or 30-day return policy if sold thru eBay, and may take up to 90 days with our layaway installment payment plan which is a final sale and not returnable. After an items’ sales transaction is complete, we will send you an email detailing the sales record and issue payment in your preferred method.
Consignment Term & Item Pricing
We require a minimum of 180 days from the date of this signed agreement for consignments. We reserve the right to offer a 10% discount at any time as a sales incentive if needed.
- Item pricing is determined by our research and approved by you.
- After 60 days, the item may be discounted another 10% to 15% off.
- After 90 days, the item may be discounted another 10% to 15% off.
- Please let us know if you wish an additional discount at any time.
Due to the work, expense, and time invested, there is a $50 cancellation fee plus shipping, for each item you want returned before 180 days from the date of this agreement. If unsold after 180 days, you may request for us to return any items to you at our expense, or you can allow items to remain for sale for an additional period of time.
Although we take every precaution to protect your items against loss or damage while they are in our care, REAL DEAL COLLECTION is not responsible in the event of theft, fire, flood, or act of nature while in our possession. We will file an insurance claim with our insurance company to recover damages for your loss, but we cannot guarantee that you will recover any monies.
Any item that we cannot authenticate with complete confidence will not be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse any item that does not meet our standards and it will be returned to you at the cost of shipping, or picked up in our showroom boutique.
We are not responsible for any item lost or damaged by the carrier during shipment to us. Please be sure to pack your items securely and send parcels with a tracking number, signature upon delivery and insurance. International clients are responsible for any import taxes, customs fees or handling fees associated with international deliveries. The duty-free limit for incoming parcels is $800 USD.
You hereby affirm agreement with all of the above terms, and attest to have legal title to and are in legal possession of all items provided to REAL DEAL COLLECTION.
Please pack items inside their dust bags or wrapped in tissue paper into a box that fits along with all paperwork and accompaniments such as straps, cards, boxes, etc. include your contact information: name, email, phone, mailing address.
